CUSTOMER SERVICE

Meet and Greet customers upon entry to store

Determine customer needs and make recommendations on products and services

Create and review computerized Work Orders to direct shop employees

Determine tasks to be completed and identify necessary supplies, parts and equipment

Order any parts or supplies needed to perform work as promised and complete paperwork to account for all purchased parts or supplies

Retrieve customer vehicle from parking lot and position in the appropriate work bay

Record vehicle mileage, physical damage, warning lights or problems on the work order

Follow up with shop employees on work progress and keep customers informed

Make sure all work performed is recorded and priced on the Work Order

Notify customers of completed work and take payments via cash, checks, and credit cards

Balance cash drawer at the end of the day

Complete all activity reports required by management

Multi- or Bi-lingual ability is desirable, especially Spanish

STORE MAINTENANCE

ALL store employees are assigned specific or general work area maintenance tasks such as re-stocking supplies, organizing work areas, sweeping and mopping floors, emptying trash cans, cleaning restrooms, cleaning parking lot, etc.  Each employee is expected to perform store maintenance duties as assigned and to maintain the store in good working condition.

SHOWROOM  & WAREHOUSE MAINTENANCE

ALL store employees are expected to utilize computers and store equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.  Employees may be assigned to perform routine maintenance or assist maintenance staff in performing repairs such as interior lighting, restroom comfort, cleanliness, and warehouse organization.

TECHNICAL & CROSS-TRAINING

It is desirable for sales staff to be cross-trained for all sales counter jobs and to fill in when others are absent.  Preference is given to technical training in automotive repairs, accounting, computers or other areas where knowledge improves the customer experience and results in an efficient, clean, and safe operating environment.

PHYSICAL INVENTORY

ALL store employees may be required to participate in store physical inventory audits by assisting in the organization and counting of stock.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Pre-employment Drug Screen
  • Pre-employment Background Check
  • Be physically capable of performing job requirements without aid
  • Neat and clean physical and clothing appearance at all times
  • No tattoos or body piercings visible in normal work attire
  • Appropriate hairstyles kept neat and clean
